Mechs would a fun thing to try and design. I'd probably try to take inspiration from the experimental tanks of the time.

Living in a world where superheroes and villains exist is very dangerous, because at any moment, people who are near the battle of heroes and villains may die because of them. The job of being a superhero will soon become boring and sucks, so even against his background, working in an office or in a cafe will be better and more interesting.
